Fu Ling, also known as Chinese Tuckahoe, is a fungus belonging to the Polyporaceae family. As a wood-decay fungus, it grows underground and forms a large, durable sclerotium that looks similar to a small coconut. It should not be confused with true tuckahoe (Peltandra virginica), a tuberous flowering plant historically used by Native Americans.
With a long history of traditional herbal use, Fu Ling is a widely used botanical ingredient. It helps support healthy digestive comfort and mental calm for overall well-being.
